Glenelg

We will leave from Glenelg and head through the Adelaide Hills and the Southern Vale wine growing areas for a morning break in the historic town of McLaren Vale.

McLaren Vale

McLaren Vale is nestled between the rolling Mount Lofty Ranges and Gulf St Vincent beaches. The region is known for its impressive wines, lush regional produce and scenery. McLaren Vale is also rich in history. It is the birthplace of the South Australian wine industry and home to some of the world's oldest grape vines.

Myponga Dam

We then head towards the coast and drive over the Myponga Dam to take the coastal roads overlooking the pristine Fleurieu Beaches, some secluded bays and cliffs.

It's then back inland to end our run with a light lunch in Strathalbyn, one of the prettiest towns in South Australia.

Fleurieu Beaches

Strath' has maintained its charm and village-like setting whilst still managing to become a thriving country town. It offers a wide variety of independent shopping options and the historic high street is packed with antique shops and a wide range of eateries.

Strathalbyn

So we look forward to a large turn out of MGs and the first 100 cars to enter will each receive a large "Kimber Run" souvenir plaque to fix on the front of their car.
