ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION PAYMENTS AND LOGBOOK REPLACEMENT AND UPDATES FOR 2025
Please pay as soon as possible,
If you own a Historic Vehicle on Club Registration and fail to pay your subscription by February 28th, 2025, our club is required to send a list of names of those un-financial members to the Dept of Infrastructure and Transport, for Club Registration determination.
Clause 3.10 of the code of practice says: “if a vehicle owner ceases to be a financial member of a recognised motor vehicle club at any time during which the vehicle is registered, the owner must not drive the vehicle or allow any other person to drive the vehicle until such time that the vehicle owner is again a financial member of a recognised motor vehicle club or has taken out standard registration.”
ALONG WITH YOUR SUBSCRIPTION, YOUR LOGBOOK(S) WILL NEED ATTENTION
IF YOU WISH TO ATTEND THE CLUB ROOMS:
The club rooms will be open on the second and fourth Saturday mornings of the month from January to October (10 am to 12 noon).
USE OF THE POSTAL SYSTEM:
Please check the front cover for the “Replace Logbook” expiry date (in red ink).
If the date is 31/12/24, you must apply for a new logbook with your subscription invoice payment and please include the extra payments for each logbook ($5) and return postage.
The following details for each book are required: –
A formal request for a logbook, your name and postal address, the vehicle’s current registration number and the registration expiry date,
Do not send in your logbook, continue to use it until the end of the year,
If the date is 31/12/25 or 31/12/26, post in your current logbook with your subscription invoice payment, ensuring that the following are included: –
The logbook(s) for validation,
Return postage stamped self addressed envelope.
ALTERNATELY, IF YOU HAVE PAID YOUR SUBSCRIPTION AND THE LOGBOOK EXPIRY DATES ARE 31/12/25 OR 31/12/26:
Just present your proof of payment to one of our Validation or Authorised Persons (formerly Inspectors), to “validate years 2 or 3 in your logbook. This can be at any event or occasion, such as at a “Noggin and Natter” on a Friday night at the club rooms. They can sign and stamp your logbook for the relevant year. The current Validation Persons are Berry Treffers, Alan Cardnell, Bev Waters, Mike Greenwood and Steve Spong.
